Teeth are made up of 3 layers.
- Enamel - Bluish white and translucent
- Dentin - A varying shade of yellow
- Pulp - Pinkish-red as it contains nerves and blood vessels
The colour of your teeth is usually determined by the enamel and dentin layer. People with thinner enamel will have yellowish teeth as the underlying dentin shows through.
